My Story
D&N Nanny Village is a reflection of the values instilled in me by my mother, Lucille Wiley. Growing up in East, St. Louis, IL, she dedicated herself to our community, serving as a precinct committee woman in the early '80s. My mother tirelessly worked to provide opportunities for children by organizing food programs and preparing lunches for kids in need, teaching us the importance of caring for others.
As the founder and CEO of D&N Nanny Village, I strive to embody this spirit of community care. Our village offers a nurturing environment where families can feel secure, knowing their children are loved and supported. The name D&N represents my initials and honors my daughter, Nicole, and my granddaughter, symbolizing a legacy of love and connection. I am committed to creating a safe space where we can protect and uplift one another, ensuring that the values of care and support continue for generations.

Christy Ashment
Nanny
Four years ago, I relocated Augusta, GA with my husband, Billy, a retired Army veteran. We have seven children and three grandchildren who keep us on our toes! I’ve been a Medical Assistant for five years working at Urgent Care as needed, and I also serve as a kindergarten paraprofessional. In my spare time, I enjoy family gatherings, reading, baking, and capturing moments through photography. Our family values are deeply rooted in love and support, and we cherish every moment spent together. I believe that every day is an opportunity to learn something new and create lasting memories.
